"What kind of world do we want to create with our children?" At the 2024 NAEYC Conference in Anaheim, CA, SCCS's very own Cassie Worley, Director of Interlaken Preschool, joined author Debbie LeeKeenan and Professor John Nimmo as they revisited key messages from their most recent film, Families Embracing Anti-Bias Values.
"Parents and other family members have hopes and dreams for the kind of world their children will experience and contribute to now and in the future. What can early childhood educators learn from listening to the voices of families about these aspirations?
During the session, participants heard from panelists and were encouraged to apply key ideas to their own settings and create action plans for how to engage alongside families in anti-bias education. SCCS congratulations Cassie on a successful NAEYC presentation!
